Well, Happy New Year everybody. Here’s to a safe and happy one for all of us. 2006 was really swell: got married, went to Italy, moved to a new place, did a lot of comics. Right now, I’m taking a little break from all that craziness, but here’s some things to be on the lookout for:
We’ll be posting a new issue finally of creativeSkin, the web zine in its 6th issue this month. Also, there will be a couple of anthologies that I have contributed to that should be going into print this spring. Details to follow, just don’t wanna jinx it. For the rest of the year, I will be shutting myself from the outside world and will finally try to finish up on Heirloom, the graphic novel that I’ve been working on. More details on that later too. Anyway, I hope 2006 was awesome for you and I hope to see you happy in 2007. Take Care!
It’s been a hectic couple of months. I can’t believe the year
is ending next Monday. Check out this week’s East Bay Express
where I helped art direct the comics feature for their Year-In-Review issue. Take a gander at comics drawn by Alixopulos, Andy Hartzell, Calvin Wong, Damien Jay, David Lasky, John Isaacson, me, Melanie Lewis, and Thien Pham. Cover art by Geoff Vasile.

Bwah-ha-ha-HA! I redesigned my website. Does it look okay?
(Above is the design that Ken and I made for our wedding favors. Each guest got a mug with our mugs on it. We have some left, maybe we should sell them.). Edit: Yes, Ken is supposed to be a Stab King.
Hi! I’ve been busy stuffing envelopes, but I wanted to let you know that the cool cats from Slovenia’s Stripburger comic group have published the 43rd issue of their Stripburger anthology book. Among work by Peter Kuper, Tony Millionaire, and Sebastien Lumineau, I have a story about an unexpected family trip to the Philippines.
To buy it, visit the Stripburger website
