March 11th! Seattle! Mutha Magazine is celebrating a decade of publishing stories of “real-life motherhood, from every angle, at every stage.” Contributing to Mutha made a huge impact on my comics career. Almost 10 years ago, Beginning’s End, my story about being a new mother, was nominated for an Eisner, and it’s all thanks to Editor-in-Chief Meg Lemke! Join the party at AWP 2023 and the Fantagraphics Bookstore in Seattle to toast this amazing milestone for an important publication!
