If you don’t really care about the World Series. I’ll give you someone to root for: Freddy Sanchez, short stop 2nd baseman for the San Francisco Giants. Freddy spent the beginning of his major league career and lasted 6 years as a member of my hometown team, the sad sad Pittsburgh Pirates. If you know the plight of the Pittsburgh Pirates, you know that 6 years is like an eternity. However in those 6 depressing years, Freddy managed to win a batting title, become a 2-time All-Star, and above all else, receive the honor of being one of Pittsburgh’s most 25 beautiful people by Pittsburgh Magazine. Cool, right?! Go Freddy!
